Chi is a Chinese water color artist, Chinese calligrapher, traditional drummer, costume designer and Chinese gu-zheng (2,000-year-old Chinese long zither) player. She formerly performed with various Chinese dance groups in Madison, Wisconsin and assisted with the Madison Blue Willow Chinese Dance Troupe. Currently, Chi is an active member of the Madison Chinese Fine Arts Association. Chi joined Call for Peace Drum & Dance Company in 1995 as a Chinese gu-zheng player.
